Repeat Prescriptions
If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can ask for a repeat prescription by ordering in person at the surgery, by fax or by post (please include a stamped self addressed envelope).
Your prescription will be available for you to pick up in two working days (48 hours).
Requesting Prescriptions Online
Patient Access allows you to do things like booking appointments and ordering repeat prescriptions at a time convenient to you.
Patient Access is also available as an app, which can be used on Apple devices (iPhones and iPads) and on Android devices (mobile phones and tablets). The app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and from the Google Play Store. Simply click the relevant logo on the Patient Access Login page.
Note: Patient Access is only available from within the UK. You cannot access Patient Access from abroad.
To register for our online services, please complete an application form from Reception or download one by clicking here.
Please bring the completed form, together with your photo ID and address verification documents to the Surgery. The service is available for patients over 14 years of age.
When you call with these documents, we will be able to provide you with a user name and password, together with a handy guide – Patient Handbook. Copies of the handbook are available from Reception or by clicking here.
Once you have obtained your user name and password, please click on the ‘Patient Access’ logo above to be redirected to the ‘Patient Access’ homepage.
From the ‘Patient Access’ website you will be able to:
- View your past and future appointments
- Book and cancel GP appointments
- View your current prescriptions
- Order your repeat prescriptions
- Complete questionnaires about your health (not yet available)
Appointments are subject to availability – pre-bookable up to 4 weeks ahead: in addition, appointments for the same day, these bookings will be made available from 8.00 am (the same time as for patients visiting or telephoning the Surgery).
